A little about the CEO and Founder of ADI:

Dana Paul Bachelder

Dana comes from humble beginnings in rural Maine and grew up in the wide open spaces of nature.  He spent more than a few nights staring at the black sky enjoying the illumination of the stars and wondering what was up there.  Well, he never quite got into space, but working on airplanes and space craft came close to his passion.

He got his start in engineering at Bath Iron Works doing Marine Engineering and worked his way up to the sky.  After 23 years of learning, stretching his limits and expanding his knowledge base, Dana is confident in every aspect of aerospace, as the industry is not a job, but his passion.

His Education is diverse and broad.  He holds a 2 year Technical Certificate in Aircraft and Marine Design from Morse Technical in Bath, Maine.  A Program/Project Management Certificate form "New Horizons" School of Business in Bellevue, WA and is always keeping up to date with several Continuing Education programs in Aerospace Engineering, Design and Small Business Management.

His Computer Skills alone set him apart from most and is able to help and understand others who are struggling. He is comfortable sitting at a computer with 10,000+ hrs. working CAD programs such as CATIA, V5r20 with Kinematics, as well being widely experienced in UniGraphics, V18, NX2 & NX5, ANVIL, CIMCAD, CADKEY as well as Excel, Powerpoint, MSN Project, MSN Publisher, Lotus Notes, EDS Team-Center, Boeing PDM, ENOVIA LCA, Smart-Team and SAP.

Dana is the "Go To" guy for answers and really shines while doing presentations to customers and upper management.  Over all Dana is the right guy running the right company to consult on aerospace engineering, repair a damaged airplane or doing a freighter conversion.  With his easy going style , likeability and knowledge he is the star that he looked up at so long ago.
